About the Digital Champions Workshop
The Digital Champions Workshop is a series of workshops that aim to equip smaller businesses with better knowledge and skills to communicate more effectively their challenges to government officials. Attending the workshops, participants are given the opportunities to discuss with government officials from different countries the challenges they are facing.
In May 2017, the Asian Trade Centre Foundation (ATCF) organized the first Digital Champions Workshops in Singapore with the participation of 15 MSMEs from across the region. Having better understood the needs of smaller businesses in the region, the Asia Pacific MSME Trade Coalition (ATMC) was then set up to amplify and strengthen the voice of MSMEs in the region.
In August 2017, the ATCF and AMTC jointly organized the second Digital Champions Workshop with the presence of 18 MSMEs from across the Asia Pacific.
